they refuse to listen to my pov. It seems to be very difficult for them to get beyond the hatred they have for anything conservative, so over time I've learned to avoid that trap I have been looking in vain for any new Democratic policy ideas. They are like the story of the blue-blooded lady from Boston, who when asked where she bought her hats, replied haughtily, "I have my hats already, thank you." The Democrats have their ideas already, thank you very much. Have you looked at Daily Kos lately? Everytime I look at the page I can't even find a policy statement from one end to the other. It's all partisan sniping and score-keeping. There was even an indignant post yesterday where Kos asked, how dare the Republicans demand that the Democrats come up with any ideas for Social Security! when they [the Republicans] won the "trifecta"....their sense of outraged entitlement is as strong as the Sunnis in Iraq. At least they're not sending car bombs to Capital Hill. Yet.
