Having been a toker for several years, here is my recollection: When making a contact to get some smoke, the people generally got stoned together but not always. Granted that pot lovers often stay stoned when not socially engaged but when socializing with like minded buddies out come the pipes and joints, and most people get into it primarily as a party activity. In my case we grew our own on a cooperative farm in Oregon, so it was a bit different but before that I was a college student and never met a single person who was a closet toker. It was the party drug of the day. People who are doing cocaine for fun (which is the norm for cocaine users) are generally out doing other party stuff with other people, the most common of which would be either booze or pot depending on preferences and a good chance that it would be both. Now I realize you and souix would never have met such people as I have just described but in this universe, I am fairly confident that my description is pretty close to what common embibers might have seen. But chortle away, as ridiculous as that seems to me, you all seem to find some solace in each other's hickups. I did say that finding a lone stoner is probably rare, maybe I just got lucky and found you two who think you are representative. Sheesh do you guys EVER just have an honest discussion, or does it always have to be twisted into some sleazy alliance that bolsters your ego. Souix had just kicked me off of his thread because his new guest, coug, was uncomfortable with my politics, so he stalked me for ANYthing he thought he could use and posted that piece of crap to you, so you could reasure him about what side of a line you would jump to. Don't you ever get sick of that crapola? If not I hope you find comfort in it but ... wow, I thought I'd seen everything on SI but you surprised me. That was pretty pathetic dude but I hope your friend was comforted by it.
