Laz, what may or may not be in the URL in your post is that a person whose property is confiscated is tried in criminal courts, whereas the case of the person attempting redemption of said property is tried in civil courts. In criminal courts, beyond a reasonable doubt is the standard, whereas in civil courts the standard is a preponderance of the evidence. Very large gap, that one.
