Well how sweet to lob a softball at me, Kid! Unfortunately, new research reveals that there really is no difference between disposable diapers and diaper services with cloth diapers in their overall impact on the environment. I am too tired to find the study right now, but I read it on vegweb.com or some other environmental site, not the Citizens for Defense of Freedom to Choose Disposable Diapers or anything like that.

It is a little late at night for irony. I am sitting at the computer, but my brain is already safely tucked in and dreaming very dreamy dreams! Let's face it--public hygiene in China is just disgusting. I wouldn't travel there, and if I was forced to go, I would be wearing surgical masks and latex gloves and bringing my own food. So why go? I don't like tourists like that, and I don't want to be one, either.

Congratulations on sending your son to China, though!
