I am prepared for my fate. In fact, I'm doing what I can to accelerate it. Unfortunately for me, my views are so radical and underappreciated among the dimwits in America that it's going to be a hell of long time before I can achieve the mythic status of a Leon Trotsky or Che Guevara. At least they had a few people listening to them. Around here, I get a hell of a lot of blank stares from people who know everything about "Desperate Housewives" and nothing about desperate cultures. For example, not one in a hundred here understand the Sandinistas. Not one in a thousand understand the plight of the sex workers in Phnom Penh and not one in ten thousand understand the plight of the San Bushmen of the Kalihari. And why should they? Americans are the most self-absorbed, superficial and superfluous culture the planet has ever created. No one will Miss America when it dies. There's plenty more beauties available.
