My objection was not to the article. I was objecting to the phrase that I highlighted, which is why I highlighted it.

"There can be no other conclusion..."

Nothing political about it.

Politics had nothing to do with my objection. My objection was about the abuse of logic, one of my hobby horses.

The article asserted that Fox did a lousy job on the Pope story, ergo, "there can be no other conclusion" than that people now turn primarily to Fox for breaking news. It's bad enough to draw that conclusion from such limited data. But to assert that all other potential conclusions are excluded by it is just risible.
