all along there has been a complaint about GOOG that they are a one trick pony wrt search advertising and no other revenue streams. Personally I always thought that was no big deal since you could actually say that every software company is a one trick pony if they only sell order management software, etc. But anyyway this last week the new GOOG micropayments system for content was somehow leaked to the press. At first it was said to be a competitor for ebay which it is not, it is a digital content engine that allows "sellers" to offer content feeds for micropayments as low as .05. The blogs say it will be released in the fall. It probably takes the money out of your bank account like paypal, that must be where the similarity is. But this is entirely for digital content now, according to the rumors I see. They need it for the digital movies they are going to offer, eventually.

Sig, some time ago I mentioned that BA was one stock that had a strong chart and was held in my intermediate term trading account. I'm taking the nice percentage gain in the stock over the past few months right now with the fat move on the new CEO...

Best regards,
John

PS - The GOOG offer still stands. If it ever hits 300B in valuation I'll take a digital photo of myself eating a hat <ggg>.
