My point is that eminment domain has to have a legit reason to be imposed. New London, Waterbury, Bridgeport, Hartford, New Haven all in lousy shape. Look how cities like Baltimore have been improved at the inner harbor. Eminent domain always trades property rights for public good and its been around forever. If eminent domain was used to give Trump the ability to build high income coops in Manhattan, it is much harder to justify. So i dont know why you think that judges votes are directly related to the venue involved is such a bad thing. Wouldnt it have been a slam dunk if a shanty town war razed in NL for this development and a slam dunk in the other direction if thousands of homes were removed for such a project? Mike
