The rightwing tries to revise history of all good things Clinton or Kennedy or Carter did, and replace them with revised history of great things Reagan and others did. Reagan did some good things, but like Bush he was a big deficit spender, let his cronies rape our environment and started a secret corrupt war. He also was only one of the forces responsible for bringing down the Soviet Union, including the counbter-culture hippie rock and roll peace movement which was all the rage with Soviet youths who wanted freedom. And the church. And Gorby of course, most of all. Of course CLinton balanced the books and started giving us surpluses. But no rightwinger will ever give credit where credit is do, and even when they do they'll say it was because Gingrich was in congress. But Gingrich fought Clinton tooth and nail on economic issues.
