Re: "How about this -- "Believing EVEN NOW in something that has been proven not to exist, is the height of stupidity"?"

No, we know "EVEN NOW" that Saddam had WMD's, and had used them, murdering countless Iraqis. You may wish to call me stupid, but I simply did not say what you imply I said, in order to do so (what's up with that...you think you are writing honestly? Do you think you are contributing to a meaningful conversation when you do that? Hardly!).

Why you think Bush KNEW what others around the world plainly didn't know, remains unexplained. Seems you have no evidence at all for that notion. To me, you are being silly to write such things as that. You can talk about paper tiger dictators all day long, but for all you know Saddam DID have a role in 911, and I know of no other country to this day that had an airplane fuselage in a training camp for terrorists, terrorists reportedly (and not refuted to my knowledge) from Saudi Arabia. The bottom line which is undeniable is that his dictatorship was a murderous regime which hated us, which was actively breeding hate for us, and which deserved what it got from us. I think it was better to go there than sit back and wait. You may feel sure Saddam would never want to harm us (despite a POTUS assassination plot), and never could. I still believe we need to nip assholes like Saddam in the bud around the world, before we have more 911's.
