Ray, I agree that we need to take gaps into consideration, but they're only a part of the total picture. A lack of technical support usually means a quick fill, common on small volume stocks, but gaps don't always mean a fill is likely.

Sometimes a gap means there's another gap coming up.

Here's a good example. (We're shorting this one in our folio). I hope you enjoy it, because the illustration is a text book beauty even featuring MA crossovers confirming the trends.

Second gap closing at 19.02. Makes an attempt at a rebound - (rounded bottom). No volume on right side of curve indicates weakness, leading to a

Target is 17.57, the recent low at the middle of the rounded bottom.
