The resolution in the '90s authorizing the use of force was NOT applicable for the '03 invasion. Kofi Annan has stated publicly that the '03 invasion was illegal. In fact the resolution in the '90s ONLY authorized Bush Sr. to kick Saddam out of Kuwait, period. Bush Sr. did NOT have authorization to invade Iraq. Jr. violated international law, time and time again, with the invasion, with the illegal torture and detention of POWs etc. Of course, Americans don't believe international law applies to them.
