Back in 1970 it seemed like common sense would prevail...
It's hard to believe that this is an issue in the enlightened 21st (Sioux Word) century; sounds so medieval.
Why no hemp industry? It's not the smoking stuff, but it's banned. (Sioux Word)Great multi-purpose plant.
And we miss another (SW) boat; a drug named Sativex was just approved in Canada; a marijuana-based metered dose inhaler (little asthma puffers you see on TV) for patients with MS.
Another up and coming industry that our (SW)short-sighted (SW) Puritanical rulers have generously given to the rest of the (SW) world.
And, wanna bet patients with MS here won't be able to buy that particular Canadian droog?

The only thing that does bother me about it is what I have always seen issues like this do to our collective conscience

It also builds (SW) contempt and disrespect for the (SW) law, as happens when any rule is broken openly and with regularity, eg the (SW) speed limit.
