It's not going to convince anyone to buy more stock, in fact, the opposite is more likely." Perhaps you are incapable of comprehending the significance of this HP statement?"We feel HP Compaq nx6125 notebook really hits the sweet spot of the SMB market," said Stephen Shultis, director of commercial notebook product marketing at Palo Alto, Calif.-based HP. Call it hyperbole if you like. (I can call you a "dork" to if I like. Such a statement would reveal the about the same amount of underlying reason as does yours ;-) Nothing exaggerated about it at all. If you've been reading posts on this thread, then you must be aware that there are those, who 2 to 3 months ago, were claiming that AMD would never be able to compete in the enterprise mobile sector. With this one announcement, not only has AMD demonstrated that they can compete with Centrino, but they can also compete in the enterprise space. That Doug, is not hyperbole, but that, Doug, is diificult to overexaggerate its importance. Just in case you think I'm alone in pointing out the potential significance of the HP Compaq nx6125 notebook, you might read this:news.zdnet.com Again, I can't think of a more significant statement concerning AMD's mobile efforts. Again, you're being dorky to call it hyperbole. As far as your nonsense about stock price, I won't even comment further because you're being even "dorkier" in making such a staement. "The nonsense about AMD not having yet focused on the desktop space is particularly fatuous." Doug, you seem to have tipped over after 2 down days for AMD. Chill, it'll be OK. It's only "market risk" not "company risk" that took it down the past 2 days. By the way, surely you recall that AMD management has repeatedly stated that the order of prority is: 1. Server 2. Mobile 3. Desktop Sure looks to me that the HP Compaq nx6125 notebook is a signal that AMD is now focusing on #2. If so, I can't wait 'til they put desktops under their microscope. The only thing fatuous about any of the above is your conclusion that such is fatuous ;-) You do seem on edge but just put a sock in it, 'cause you seem to be tiliting at windmills, and recently, there does seem to be a correlation between your tilting at windmills and a negative AMD price slope.
