The CIA may have trained Osama Bin Lauden. I recently read a chapter in "One Ranger" an autobiography by a Texas Ranger who claims that in the 80's he helped the CIA train Mujehedin in West Texas in the art of high-tech weaponry. Then they were sent to Afghanistan to battle Soviets. 20 years later the Ranger feels very uneasy watching Al Qaida and the Taliban, wondreing how many of his trainees were killing Americans with the skills they learned from he and his CIA operator buddies. Likely, Osama was also trained by the US. Remember, Osama's family was also very close to Bush Sr. who was VP at the time, and former head of the CIA. This could be why Bush secretly doesn't want to catch Osama. That and the fact a Bin Lauden invested in GW's first company and another Bin Lauden invested in Carlyle Group which both Bushes were part of.
