Niceguy, Wonder how many of those non-hyperbolizing nx6125 notebooks HP can sell in Q3? 100k? 300K? 500k?

That nx6125 is a dandy, ahead of its time. Not everyone will need it, but there is no reason not to get it based on its merits.

Intel's hold of the corporate markets looks to be loosening somewhat. I don't see a landslide happening though. Also, the price to HP is likely quite sweet.

It is still a high profile win.

A disaster for Intel is also a wide spread financial pain, that shouldn't be over looked. Decisions made at high levels may ignore what is obvious to those at lower levels.

That, AMD with a single architecture, has Intel surrounded is flat amazing. But, thats the way it is. Not surprising in a way that one archtiecture in its field is superior. How that field can be so large, is witness to the greatness of K8 architecture.

If Intel doesn't respond soon, and fab36 and 65nm perform well and the hubs of earths axis are intact....

Maybe 50K or so, for about $5-8M in revenue for AMD.
