That might make for an interesting debate, if you have anything persuasive to back up the assertion, but perhaps another day. I've got some salmon to cook and wine to drink.

Yes, and even the father of economic liberalism (commonly known as capitalism), Adam Smith, recognized the proper role of government in provision of public goods and furthering social welfare (in the economic sense of the word). And one could argue that the very power to tax is an infringement on our property rights. None of these acts of government could reasonably be termed either socialist or fascist, and neither can eminent domain when exercised by our democratically elected representatives acting within their defined powers.
