That is not the point I am arguing. I agree some kids end up brighter then others. Some kids end up not being bright.

Fact is though, your attitude can kill a developing childs intelligence just like mercury can. At the same time your attitude can also help enhance a developing childs intelligence.

Throw the race gene out the window. Some poorly equipped school in the middle of goola goola land is educating some child genius right now with very little resources. The race vs IQ mob would like to say educating such people is wasting resources. A terrible reinforcing argument that I find highly objectionable and wrong in every sense of the word.

When it comes to matter of intelligence it's important to present opportunities, not barriers.

Years 4 to 11 are key for IQ development. I don't have to read any more books on intelligence to know that.
