The right should understand that the battle of ideas is won out in the open.

Madison said it, Jefferson said it, but you can never say it too loudly or too often.

If you censor speech, then you don't know when people are thinking stupid things and you can't debate them and try to persuade them that they're wrong, and maybe succeed, or at least persuade other people who are listening.
