The worst mistake was invading Iraq with less than 1/2 the number of necessary troops - a stupid mistake by Rumsfeld without dissent from Bush, Cheney, Rice, Powell etc.

The impeachment of Bush-Cheney is no laughing matter. 100% of congressmen are up for re-election next year and Tom Delay the poster boy leader of the right has a whopping 17% approval rating. That's even before most people know the extent of his mafioso-like corruption. I can also tell from my trips to Houston, the locals there have had enough of him, Republicans included.

One of the reason Bush pushed the Iraq War when he did was to swipe the 2002 midterms and deny Dems subpoena powers until 2006. If that is reversed Bush-Cheney may not finish their terms. They are similar in many ways to Nixon-Agnew. But worse.
