"Greg or e has made it clear that he considers the egg to have equal rights to the mother."

You know that's a lie; everyone else knows it and can see through your little game.

"But let us forget about him when we are talking to one another--OK?"

That's so pathetic it's almost funny. You just finished insinuating that RC was an idiot if he disagreed with you, and now you are all sweetness and light. Everyone is waiting to see what name you will call him next if he continues to stubbornly resist "THE POWER BEHIND THIS THREAD"

"What do YOU think about the fertilized egg?"

I think that I should admit to ignorance about when or where to draw the line you all are trying to identify. Greg seems to have a good materialistic point about when something becomes human. I see your point about separation from mother as well.

I am not a good line drawer and prefer to keep my options open on issues that are so personal and reach so far into the mysteries about our essential existence.

Making the choice to abort, typically involves a very personal and trammatic circumstance. Since I am not personally involved with any of those circumstances, I approach the topic with respect and awe.
