It was a short sharp jolt about 4.8 and centered east of Truckee, CA which is on I-80 a few miles west of Reno. The whole apartment building was slapped on an East-West direction with the jolt that you might receive if your car would be rear-ended at a stop light at about 5 mph. Ho-Hum, back to real life.

The local stations said there was 9 or more aftershocks of around 2.2 or less. I never felt any of them.
