In 1965, the debt was 320,904,110,042.04.
In 1975 (the end of the Vietnam War), it was 576,649,000,000.00 - a rate of increase of 51%.

The rate of increase from 2000 to 2010 is 54%. Not that bad for war.

Guess what? We survived both.
