This has been tolerated by Sioux Pal when directed against his personal enemies, regardless of the otherwise meritorious nature of the contributions his enemies have to make. My only comment is that I don't think Soup Al has "enemies", rather, he tolerates it when it is used against those he disagrees with, hardly surprising I suppose..... Frankly, upon reflection I have come to the feeling that the controversy may be overblown...there are plenty of posts much more offensive on SI which contain no "f words" or their equivalents, such as libel, fighting words, etc....My own feeling is that the TOU are meaningless at this point but I'm not sure that is all a bad thing and except for cases where bodily harm is threatened or personal info posted, perhaps it is best to draw no lines. J.
