IPIX Is up more than 16% on volume over 4M after it announced yesterday that it received a $2.4M contract from DARPA to research and build the world's highest resolution video camera, which will be used for aerial surveillance missions. It is the first funding it has received from DARPA.

IPIX reportedly has around $0.44 in cash/shr and no significant LTD. There were some reported insiders buying stock in May (about 10Ks) and it seems to have support at t the $2.50 level.

It opened with an upgap today and had good upticks in the first 15 minutes of trading. The stock hasn't closed the gap and I will have to check with Ken who is the expert on those matters.<g>

The longer term chart is "interesting" since in 2000 the stock traded at the 462 level at a time when its loss was cut from $22.10/shr to just $15.63/shr.<g>

On the 1st Q IPIX reported an increase in revenues of 40$ and the loss was cut to $0.19/shr from $0.25/shr in 2004

The stock needs to close above its June 6 H of 3.43 before it can test the more important resistance from the April 6 H at 3.74
