Not to belabour, but that is precisely my point. If Athlon 64 desktop units doubles in Q2 per slide 17, chilly winds had to blow across Semprons, server revenues or Athlon 64 ASP's in Q2 for AMD to come in under $800M.

Doug can fit less than $800M into his equation by assuming a 66% increase in Athlon 64 desktops (as opposed to the 100% implied in slide 17) and a 30% decline in Athlon 64 ASP in Q2 (despite only a 10% price decline since jan on pricewatch).

Anything is possible I guess.

As Pravin might say, always look for the 2x4 surprise.
