Buggi, that person owing Keith an apology was not you ;-)

I'm not shocked. I'm fairly surprised how clear and detailed AMD is able to describe their allegations about Intel's dealings with no less than 38 companies. I hope they've extracted enough evidence from their Japanese and European suits to make this US antitrust suit stick. If they have then there is even a scenario that the previously gained evidence will now allow them to poke the devil in the face enjoying it. Realistically I think they'll need to get the courts to allow some major digging in Intel's dealings with Dell among others which will take years.

I don't trust US courts on antitrust as they allowed MS to get away with major anti-competitive behaviour as well EVEN THOUGH they were convicted of it: Their fine was more or less supplying free software to the educational sector (one of the last sectors they were not completely dominant in already as Apple had a much larger market share there than in the overall pc market), plus opening up their API's to a minimal extent. These measures: free software and opening up of the API's a bit costed them absolutely NOTHING.

Regards,

Rink

For those who may be wondering, "roman" in German means "novel", as in a literary work.
