Cramer may or may not be cheering on the Supremes eminent domain decision.....

Note that Cramer is in the Northeast US, which has many very crowed areas, where eminent domain proceedings may be needed to get much in the way of significant new building. Hard to believe unless you have lived in some of these areas.

For the rest of the US, I think most people were shocked by the Kelo decision. There is already a bill in Texas to limit the application of the decision in Texas, and I'm sure many other states will follow.

About 20 years ago, I saw a nasty abuse of eminnent domain abuse in Sunnyvale, California for the building of a Shopping mall. The homeowners were f----ed.

In investing, it is useful to deal with what IS, and all the big developers have had a real increase in potential earnings because of this decision. It may take a month for this to be reflected in the stock price.

This is key - Apple's OS may be better than Microsoft, and AMDs chip better than Intels, but that doesn't mean their stock will perform better.

I personally sold stock in one mutual fund because they had too much Talisman, which at the time was supporting the Sudan government, which has permitted and encouraged slavery and mass murder.
