"Well, like I said, this an only put Intel on the defensive and good for AMD if they can afford the expense- which Intel will force into the 10's of millions/Q."

Cheap if it provides a lever for the oppressed to pry out from beneath INTC's heavy handed/illegal activities.

A fair marketplace going forward opens the door wide for huge AMD revenue gains.

TG, Re: There is no way this laywuit can go forward with any speed unless a top executive (like HP or SONY) has agreed to testify under oath against Intel and is ready to produce documentation to back up their statements.>

Then Carley got gone and now the CPQ crowd is in ascendancy -- or so it looks to me.

TG,

What is Intel do? Force OEM's more to drop AMD?

I think the timing of this couldn't be better. AMD has an unbeatable product in 2 out of 3 segments, and is getting somewhat comeptitive in 3rd. Intel is stuck. It is the best time to go on the offensive. Intel may try to be on its best behaviour, not squeezing as much blood or intimidating the OEMs, which can open the door to AMD to blow the market open.
