Ted, The only people who are buying it are red staters like Dr. Blair. Every obese person I know, esp. those over 30, suffer from some health issue. They may not die from obesity but their quality of life often sucks.

Who said "obese is good"? No one I know of. The fact is that the risks of obesity, while real, were overstated. You can see the kind of hysteria that led to in the media and pop culture.
