Speakig of Maria. Her reporting on KRB deal speculation of a BAC buyout was incredible.

After the rumors were flying for a week ago, she connected the dots. Noted that the helicopter crash last week was carrying 6 of the 8 top executives was near BAC headquarters. Also noted the fact that BAC CEO was considering buying a credit card companies.

At the time, I saw her logic was correct. Just surprised more traders/mutual funds did not act on all the buyout stories. That makes her reporting more valuable.

Only one issue I have is--Maria personally takes a lot of credit for breaking stories--should not that too often...once in a while is good. Even if true, it just does not help her image. On this BAC/KRB deal and connecting the dots, she deserves all the credit.

Since CNBC does not have the same viewship as in the old day, the news that they report can be acted upon; if it has not hit the news wires. Maria does seem to have good connections to get the news out earlier...her stories might be the ones to consider taking some imediate trades. If this was the late 1990s, KRB would have closed near the buyout price YESTERDAY!

(just an opinion...market is not loved anymore and is therefore a great time to be long; big returns in the years ahead)
