Neither do I, and obviously neither did we. You've forgotten the point already, which was to ensure that neither could overthrow the other. If there is one thing these prior policies certainly don't show, it is that they don't show we didn't care that Saddam gassed his own people. Our policies were unrelated to that, plainly, IMHO. You have no evidence indicating otherwise.
