Ted, Which countries have you been to outside the US?

Canada, Mexico, Japan, and Korea. Europe is next year, starting w/ Germany.


And you haven't found an alternative to the US? I think you may need to try harder. ;~)

Good start. I'd recommend north Germany and stay off the autobahn. Just to see something very different.

Go to Slovenia. It was great - golf, caving, seashore, wines, sauna baths and all at 1/2 the cost of the rest of Europe. 2 hour drive from Venice, Italy to the capital (Ljubljana).
