As long as we are revealing secrets, here's my EPS contest entries voluntarily-- AMD Rev 1280M (70M above average lemming analyst, 20M above highest!) CPU 790M (just below Doug "threshold of insanity", +40M vs. Q1) Flash 450M (3M above Q1) (Other) 40M (10M above Q1, hope springs eternal) EPS $0.015 (about right for $53M higher revs on Q1's -0.04) Stock $20 (hope, now 17.70) Intel - totals pretty much in line with analysts but EPS $0.01 higher, just because they always purposely underestimate as Intel requests <g>. Rev 9200M CPU 6640M (-255M vs. Q1, slightly less drop than usual) Flash 600M (+22M) EPS $0.33 Stock $28 (now 26.33) Petz

For the record, I sold 2x of 6x(a third) at 18.33 after the downdraft in the market this afternoon. This was half of the 4x I bought on 6/28 at 17.02. ..Ca-Ch... ...never mind. I probably left money on the table, but if December's $24+ taught me anything it is to take a profit and not get greedy. I still hold 4x which is about 2x more than I want over earnings. The trouble is I'm going to a Boy Scout Camp next week and will be incommunicado over the fateful day. If we get 18.80, I may take it for the other 2x. I cannot imagine AMD being higher than 18 the day after earnings. If we are sub 17, I would not be surprised. I also cannot imaging AMD being lower than 18 two months from now unless the whole market tanks. -Magrathea
