Bush is the one who turned Iraq into a terrorist swamp. Before Bush invaded, Iraq was not alligned with Al Qaida and there very few terrorist types there. Meanwhile, Bush took his eye off Osama and the Al Qaida leaders who are still in power, and whose followers have grown and splintered off into hundreds of new cells.

Bush has done something only a complete fool could have done, made the world less safe than before he started his "war on terror". Of course we also have $60 oil and trillions is new deficits but a deeply divided nation. After 9-11 we were all united, remember? Bush destroyed that unity and good will.

Did Bush explain why he went to war in the 1st place? The WMD's argument? No. Instead, he kept mentioning 9-11 as if Saddam had attacked us on 9-11. A brilliant piece of bait and switch propaganda.

Of course now we are stuck in Iraq thanks to Bush so we need to do the best we can. But remember, Vietnamization in 1970-1976 didn't work. I will be surprized if Bush's Iraqis have the balls to creat real security.
