He obviously prefers people who are capable of forming independent thought rather than the bran dead brain washed liberals at Harvard, Yale, UCLA, etc..

How many of those military personnel were set there by mommy and daddy paid for by money from the grandparents? The correct answer appears to be zero.

He chose Fort Bragg. It was his decision, not yours or mine. Perhaps it was chosen because it is important to the Iraq mission. If you read the speech, you know who the base commander is and what his responsibilities include.

President Bush gave a well delivered impassioned speech. When you hear the liberals on the formerly MSM criticizing it, you will know that they are biased.

"Can you tell me why he is always giving speeches before military audiences and during the campaign he tried to filter the crowds before letting them in to listen to his speeches?"

Karl learned this from Hitler and Goebells. The military will cheer on command - even though OURS needed prompting from the advance men last night.

"ABC's Terry Moran just reported that the only time Bush got applause was in the middle of his speech when a White House advance team member started clapping all on their own in order to cajole the soldiers into clapping, which they dutifully did.

So even the applause was fake."
