Ralph. Your insulting the military indicates that you are either incapable or unwilling to engage in intelligent debate. Check the facts. How many military personnel were sent off to the military by mommy and or daddy? Are you saying that the percentage is higher than the incidence of mommy and or daddy sending the kidlets off to Yale, Harvard, UCLA, etc.? ROTFL Enlistment is an act of independence. Going to daddy's alma matter may be your idea of independent thought. It hardly qualifies as a definition of independent thought. It has been proven that colleges (especially the ones you mentioned) are a hotbed for radical expression, and diversity is not tolerated. "He does not have the right to address ONLY military types." Actually, he does. You can make shrill protestations against his rights, but you appear to be ridiculous when you do so. "He is obligated to speak for mainstream America..." Actually, he does a much better job of that than you do. Over 50% of the votes in the last Presidential election were cast for President Bush. How many did you receive? Clinton never got a plurality. President Bush does speak for a plurality of American voters. "Its NOT his decision in the final analysis to carry on this war if the rest of congress gets fed up and demands he retreat." Congress authorized the liberation of Iraq. Are you saying that you would prefer the millions of liberated Iraqi be returned to tyranny? Tsk.
