While I don't think it should EVER be necessary for a US president to answer the TRAITORS in our midst, Bush chose to answer them yesterday. They responded with typical Marxist/Leninist drivel. Lyndon Johnson couldn't even respond to the traitors of 1968 because he was OWNED by them and SURROUNDED by them. When he ran too close a primary race in NH he took the coward's way out and resigned. THAT, along the Kennedy's and the left wing media, inspired the communist enemy to fight another 5 years. Bush was saying he won't be the COWARD Lyndon Johnson was before the enemy abroad OR the enemy here in America-but that he won't presume to speak for the next guy. Should the Republican party nominate a mistake, or the American people elect a mistake in 2008, that message will haunt the graves of thousands MORE innocent Americans murdered in their home towns by the subhuman Islamic enemy. It has happened before...
