Amy,

The new Acura RL is the first car I am aware of that comes standard with the capability to receive downloadable traffic updates. I'm not aware of any aftermarket gear that does this, but perhaps someone out there knows if there is anything available yet.

Best regards,
John

OT Hi Amy J I don't know of such a device but ask some people I know. I thought I heard something a few months ago along these lines, but I think it was a start up kind of thing.
Careful out there!

Amy J ; the escape hybrid does have satelite navigation. The dealer owner believes it has traffic alert features but is not positive.Check with a local dealer if you're interested.
On a different subject, I saw over the holiday weekend that computer chips are being used in fireworks to produce custom images such as rainbows or someones photo. Don't know if Intel chips but could be the new flash bang chips the've been working on. :)
