"Eternity makes rational sense to me" I don't know that reason can be applied to the matter. Did time have a beginning? Who knows? Will time have an end? Who knows? What about eternal life for any one specific being? Well, it would have to be in other than a material sense which is, of course, corruptible and conditional. And what sort of "life" would not be? Certainly it would have no substance; therefore no thoughts arising from neuronal activity. "you and the squirrels can keep your pine nuts" They are very good in a stir fry--and in other cooking, too. "I wouldn't eat a wolf because of my regard for their coolness" Interesting! Do you find then cool because of their aloofness--or because they work as a team yet still compete with a ferocious individuality? Or perhaps another reason?
