That Million Solar Roof program is the type of initiative that could far surpass expectations. I used to date a gal whose Dad was an inventor...he had property that backed up against a steep hillside with multiple little creeks spilling off of it. He had placed little home made turbines in the creeks and each one had a an electrical meter on it that ran "backwards," measuring the amount of power he sent out to the street. He got a check each month from the power company.
