People invest here because the US has the most liquid fixed-income market in the world.

US bond yields will rise only when there is a viable alternative.

USD should be ok against paper.

An inability to manipulate the yield curve due to long rates dropping like a rock should be enough to put this asset-based economy in check for a while.

Ironically, Fed printing only makes the situation worse because money just gets recycled back here.

Well, it's really fun to go back and read response to my old mails on Silicon Investor. Since you said, "Gary Shiling has confused ideas, e.g. the USD cannot fall", THE US DOLLAR HAS RISEN.

I'm still waiting for you to amend your original statement that Gary Shilling has confused ideas, because so far, he's been right and you (and Warren Buffet) have been wrong ! ! !
