as i wrote my post i thought that too. But this is left right at all at that level. Its whose way is the better way to run the war from this point on. I would be willing to add to troops if the committment is better defined and not open ended. I will give up the timeline stuff for awhile because even biden, hillary and lieberman are against it but maybe a private timeline into the iraqi govt would suffice. 18 months to 24 months more at a stepped up level and then scale it down. Let american people know the plan. Show warts and admit flaws. It is open ended and the dreaded D(raft) word that is eroding support.
