i have heard him say that. I think he believes it. Even when i was supporting bush 100% after 9/11 i thought there was something more to iraq than was publicly stated. Saddam did try to kill senior and the failure to take him down in 91 was always a big problem for neocons. The real question to ask rangel and yourself for that matter is whether iraq would have occurred without 9/11???? What do you think?

Rangel is a fool to say something like that. How long exactly did it take the UN to put 14+ sanctions on Saddam's Iraq...how many months, and years? Rangel and the idiot Left who say things like that are the very ones that charge that the war in Iraq WASN't planned...now they want it BOTH ways....Planned before, and NOT planned before.... What are Kennedy and Rangel and all the other MoveOn types saying about Saddam training terrorists in Iraq? And paying the suicide bombers families for killing civilians? Or the #2 A-Q guy under bin Laden who has been in Iraq and directing all the terrorists activities for some time now..... No light from these Dems...just heat and hot air. Where did the smart Dems go?
