The crime he committed was particularly heinous. It shold be made clear to all that after that they can never rest easy. If the state can get sufficient evidence for a conviction from that time forward, they will arrest and go to trial. Do you think he should have walked after killing innocent little girls while they were in church?

40 years 80 year old man what was the point? Can you say... D-E-T-E-R-R-A-N-C-E boys and girls? If someone knows he or she may have to live out the rest of his or her days wondering if the police will come knocking, don't you think it might do something to reduce their willingness to murder?
