Looking back when i saw the looting and remmebered giuliani talking about quality of life crimes--that was key as was seeing unprotected stockpiles of weapons after the iraqi army was effectively disbanded. Nadine, they fucked up. It happened. Now we need to fix it and we dont have much time True of every war, mike. There is not one yet that ever went according to plan. Just think what the press would have said if the US Army had gone in hot and heavy, and begun shooting the looters to restore order. Don't kid yourself, that's what it would have taken. Just think what the Iraqis would have said and felt.
