Three parts fearmongering to two parts flag waving, mix in a few "stay the courses", add a dash of polite applause (although it turns out that last part is entirely optional -- who knew?), throw it all in a blender and smirk. Should take thirty minutes or twelve years to complete and, of course, there's no need to apologize for the horrible mess.
