The debit card with Bank of America is separate. ( courtesy of my failed marriage to an american)
TD used to have a US $ credit card, but had to cancel it because of some regulations.

What I do, when I need US $ and I am in Florida, I write a check to myself (from my TD US$ checking account) and deposit it in my BoA debit account, and than hit the stores! with my fully loaded debit card , simple :):)
