Rove and Bush's blaming of Iraq on 911 looks like desperation. I don't even think getting OBL is anywhere near as meaningful as it would have been when we first went into Afghanistan...especially if the Pakistanis or someone else gets him.

Rove has proven himself a grotesque liar in public. If that's what it takes to make a political manoevre, I have more rope for him to hang himself with. Keep blaming the Iraq War on 9-11 and see how many people buy it. I can tell you how many. 40% loyal Republicans only. The American People are too smart to fall for that crap. All it's done is make people wonder where is Osama Bin Lauden and how come we're less safe and prosperous under Bush than we were under Clinton? Or Kerry?
