The local paper has both pro-US and anti-US commentary from Iraqi citizens. It's pathetic that the news you post seems more one sided (anti-US) than the news from Arab media. Iraqis divided on Bush's pledge to keep soldiers gulf-news.com; The article you posted is an AP article, not local. You do know that many papers subscribe to syndicated news org. like the AP. As for the US papers being more biased, they are not. In fact, they are underreporting the negative events in Iraq. For good coverage of the war, one has to go to the UK media. Typically, the UK press will break a story one to six months before the American media does. And you know why that is.......because there are people like you who are refusing to believe what they are reading and seeing, and are choosing to censor the news. And its because of people like you that we are in the mess we are in.........you have allowed yourself to buy into the American spin of promoting freedom throughout the world and have let an incompetent president work his magical shit on the world. Grow up! The nonsense about America, the purveyor of freedom and the white knight to the world, is just that.....nonsense and is to convince the kiddies that we can do no wrong and allows the fat and rich kingpins to do their dirty deeds behind the scenes. It sounds like you've had a college education.......use it and start thinking independently instead of sucking up the pablum that is being dished out to the unsuspecting.
